Returning to School (COVID-19 update)


From Monday 25th May, all students should return to school unless they have a medical certificate which states that they are unable to return to school due to an ongoing medical condition or they are currently unwell. Below is an outline of what to expect during this full time return to face to face teaching and learning.

What will learning look like?

  • Teachers will deliver lessons designed to be delivered at school. There will no longer be a learning at home option.

  • Library borrowing will continue.

  • Non-contact sport will be offered.


What won't students be doing?

  • School assemblies (unless for critical information).

  • School incursions and excursions.

  • Inter-school activities (i.e. SPAF).


Drop Off

  • In the morning parents should drop and kiss their child at the gate and leave.

  • Working parents pleas drop off between 8.45 - 9.00am.

  • Non working parents please drop off between 9.00 - 9.10am.

Pick Up Times

To maintain physical distancing between adults we request that you follow this schedule and leave immediately after collecting your child/children.

  • 3pm (bottom gate 1L, top gate 1S

  • 3.10pm (bottom gate 2L, KO + Yr 1 siblings)

What about hygiene?

We will be encouraging students to:

  • Wash their hands with soap or sanitiser before and after eating.

  • Wash their hands with soap or sanitiser after going to the toilet.

  • Cover their nose and mough when they cough or sneeze.

  • Avoid touching their faces.

  • Limit physical contact in playground.

  • Families are asked not to send food to share (e.g. birthday treats).

Can parents come into the school?

Please only come into the school if you are:

  • Collecting a sick student.

  • Attending a scheduled appointment with a staff member.

  • P&C meeting will be hosted via Zoom.
